I had a great time fishing with Capt. Todd, catching three bonefish. He even got in the water to snap some pics, which I really appreciated. He is very knowledgeable and easy going. I'm planning on booking another trip with him soon.

I had the pleasure of going out with Captain Todd last Tuesday, and it turned out to be an incredible experience. I was down in the Keys with an open day and decided to look for a fishing trip after chatting with a few people at Mac’s. I called some charters who were booked, but one of them recommended Captain Todd, and he was able to fit me in that same afternoon! We met at the Beach Weekend dock and headed out for a few hours. The trip was fantastic. I had never caught a shark before, so actually hooking one was an unforgettable moment. We also caught a couple of tarpon, and Captain Todd even took some photos and videos of the catches. It was an exciting, memorable trip and truly a once in a lifetime catch for me. I highly recommend fishing with Captain Todd if you get the chance.

Amazing Day on the Water! We had an awesome trip with Talking Dog Charters down in Florida! Captain Todd was super friendly and knew exactly where to find the redfish. Within the first hour, we were already hooked up and pulling in some solid reds. The whole day was just easygoing and fun — great boat, quality gear, and beautiful weather. We spent most of the time sight fishing in the flats and mangroves, which was such a cool experience. The captain gave us great pointers on baits to use and made sure everyone, from beginners to experienced anglers, had a blast. Couldn’t have asked for a better day of fishing. I've fished with Captain Todd multiple times over the years, and every single trip has been awesome. If you're looking for a guide who knows how to find fish, Todd's your guy. The thing about Todd is he just has this ability to find fish. You know, he'll pull up to what looks like a random spot, point, and boom, within minutes we're catching fish after fish. I mean, it's like he has GPS for where they're holding. His experience really shows time and time again. Todd handles everything, gear, tackle, bait, licenses, so you just fish. He's super knowledgeable but also willing to share what he knows instead of keeping it all to himself. The atmosphere is just chill, he's a genuinely nice guy who makes the day fun whether the fish are biting nonstop or you're working for them. Over multiple trips we've consistently caught tarpon, snook, snapper, and sharks. The action is usually steady and Todd works hard to keep you on the bite. I recommend Todd to everyone I talk to about fishing in Key West, and I'm already looking at dates to book again. Whether you're just starting out or you've been fishing forever, you'll have a great time and catch fish with Talking Dog Fishing.

I’ve known Todd for years and always have a blast fishing with him. He knows where the fish are and makes every trip easy and fun. Super laid-back, great company, and always puts us on the bite. Can’t recommend him enough if you’re looking for a good time on the water!

Top notch flats fishing guide with great knowledge and no how. Taught me how to tie a "loop knot" which is important to get the most action out of your flies, jigs, and lures. Very fun to fish with as well! Highly recommended! Caught 6 tarpon, and jumped at least 20 in 2 hour span on a late afternoon/evening trip, as well as a nice keeper snapper. You will not be disappointed 💪

Captain Todd is a great angler and professional captain. He has been fishing for most of his life and he is a very consistent and top producer of trophy fish year round. He has worked with some of the best Captains on the planet including Captain Ray Rosher and the Miss Britt. Captain Todd has serious and extensive experience fishing around the world. From fishing in Miami, Florida in sailfishing tournaments to running to the offshore oil platforms in Venice, Louisiana for giant Yellowfin Tuna. Captain Todd has also traveled and fished in the top fishing locations on Costa Rica and other amazing fisheries. He is a trusted Captain and is very educated and cultured. He is a great communicator and will make sure you have an amazing and safe day of fishing and memories with family and friends. He has worked in the business environment as well having worked as the head of Social Media and marketing for Contender Boats of Florida. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Captain and charter. He knows the area waters very well and knows the reefs extensively. He is very familiar with local tides and fisheries. I highly recommend Captain Todd and will continue to fish often with him in the future.

What can I say, Todd knows his stuff. The dude lives for this stuff, and if you want a productive day on the water in Key West, catching and not just fishing - from tarpon, snook, snapper, grouper, Todd will get it done every time. Super nice guy too! Not one of those guides that hoards the tricks of the trade.
